The most effective way to invest in martial arts is through safe and quality training that teaches proper skill and technique. A quality school is based on the success of its athletes, in addition to the knowledge, experience and accomplishments of its masters and instructors. When choosing a taekwondo program it is important to research the accolades of past and current athletes, as well as the reputation of the instructors to ensure a quality curriculum. It’s beneficial to observe the talent, skills, and goals of the black belts who are currently training.
At Atlanta Sport Taekwondo we are committed to engaging and developing successful martial artists through objective goals and quality training. The main objective is to build a student’s knowledge and strength of taekwondo in a goal-oriented environment, which allows them to develop and maintain the mechanics and techniques to become skilled and successful martial artists. We take pride in teaching success by guiding students to overcome challenges when faced with failure and adversity, creating reasonable and objective goals, and coaching each individual student to develop to their maximum potential.
We firmly believe it is crucial to provide a safe and structured environment in which all instructors are required to be USAT certified which obligates them to a background check to ensure the safety of all students. In order to maintain the highest quality standards of training and coaching, we believe it is necessary for masters and instructors to continue their education. This ensures that a curriculum is relevant and current on the rules and proper training techniques of taekwondo. Our masters and instructors actively participate in continuing education seminars and advanced training courses for masters offered by the Kukkiwon, which is the official governing organization that oversees ranking and WT (World Taekwondo Federation) the sport branch of taekwondo as recognized by the International Olympic Committee, and USAT (USA Taekwondo), the official US governing body of taekwondo for coaches, athletes and referees.
